Hi! I'm Roswell.

I was fortunate enough to go through the Marine Corp's General Calibration and Maintenance program with a primary focus in Avionics support (6492!).  After getting out of the Marines, my good fortune continued and landed a job in a young but quickly rising biopharmaceutical company (HGSI! later to become GSK). My career kept me in the DC area 16 years and a 2 year stay in Austin in between. Biopharma isnt what it used to be and im looking to make an impact in an industry that I am passionate about.

What services do you provide?

We provide small retail scale and balance calibration. Our options range from single instrument checks to calibration of all units at a facility. We also offer general scale operation and maintenance training for your staff as well as providing a set of check weights and maintenance kit so periodic checks and maintenance of your scales can be performed to assure more confidence in your measurments inbetween scheduled calibrations.

Everyone has a service plan, do you have a service plan?

I am so glad you asked that, a person of culture I see. My goal is to provide a flat rate service that involes calibration for all instruments in your facility, an informal training session and Q&A regarding your balances. This will also include a calibration and maintenance kit for your staff to use in between calibration cycles. Ideally this should all be in a day. This service plan would also cover 2 service check ups. I can swing by and check something out if needed!

What if a scale or balance fails or needs replacement?

I will do my best to return every scale to a calibrated state. Some scales need cleaning and more in depth maintenance but sometimes scales and balances are beyond repair and need replacement. We will guide you through the process of procurring and purchising an NTEP compliant replacement. I have procurred many scales for many managers who were absolute penny pinchers, so, I know how to find a quality replacment without breaking the bank. I can also provide guidence on removing or adding a scale to service.

Why are you so much cheaper?

I'm just a guy and a weight set who really loves his profession of metrology. The pharmaceutical industry has changed so much over the years and I would love to transfer out of that realm and in to a different one. Most calibration companies rely on
